1. Data Controller

Lookam (headquartered in Vilanova i la Geltrú, Barcelona, Spain) is the data controller for personal data collected through the platform and the lookam.io website.

2. Data We Collect

Registration data: name, email, company and password (stored as a hash). Usage data: garment images uploaded by the client, try-on session metrics (anonymized). Billing data: managed by Stripe; Lookam does not store card data. Technical data: IP address, access and error logs for service maintenance.

3. Purpose and Legal Basis

Delivery of contracted service (basis: contract performance). Billing and tax compliance (basis: legal obligation). Service-related communications (basis: legitimate interest). Product improvement through aggregated, anonymized metrics (basis: legitimate interest).

4. AI-Processed Images

Garment images uploaded to the system are processed by AI models to generate try-on results. We do not store images of your store's end-users beyond the session duration. Garment images are retained according to your plan's retention period (7, 60 or 90 days).

5. International Transfers

AI models may run on third-party infrastructure (e.g., cloud services) located outside the EEA. In that case, we ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place (EU Standard Contractual Clauses) in accordance with the GDPR.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, object, port and restrict the processing of your data. You may exercise these rights at any time by writing to hello@lookam.io. You may also lodge a complaint with the AEPD (aepd.es).

7. Data Retention

We retain your account data while you maintain an active relationship with Lookam and, after cancellation, for as long as required to meet legal obligations (generally 5 years for tax data).

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email and via a notice in the dashboard. The current version will always be available at lookam.io/legal/privacy.
