Privacy Policy

Lookam S.L., based in Barcelona (Spain), is the controller of the personal data of the merchant account collected through lookam.io and the dashboard. Contact: hello@lookam.io.

For the photo and the result of the person trying on clothes, Lookam is the controller. The store does not receive those images and does not direct that processing. If the person has a My Lookam account, the album is governed by the My Lookam policy (my.lookam.io/legal/privacy). A try-on without an account does not enter that album.

From you as a customer: registration data (name, email, company, hashed password); dashboard usage (widget settings, catalogue garments you upload, session metrics); billing handled by Stripe (Lookam does not store card data); and technical data (IP, access and error logs).

We do not receive or show in the dashboard a shopper’s optional personal card (name, sex, age or body measurements). Try-on metrics are shown operationally and, where applicable, in aggregate. The dashboard does not show the photo or the result of the person trying on clothes.

Delivery of contracted service (basis: contract performance). Billing and tax compliance (basis: legal obligation). Service-related communications (basis: legitimate interest). Product improvement through aggregated, anonymized metrics (basis: legitimate interest).

Garment images you upload are processed by AI models to generate the try-on and are kept for your plan’s retention period.

Lookam processes the person’s photo and the result. The merchant dashboard does not show that photo or that result. We do not extract biometric templates to identify anyone.

AI models and part of the cloud infrastructure may be outside the EEA. We limit the transfer to what is needed to provide the service. The safeguards for each transfer are those of that provider. This text does not state that every set of standard contractual clauses is already signed.

As holder of the merchant account you have the right to access, rectify, erase, object, port and restrict. Write to hello@lookam.io. You may also lodge a complaint with the AEPD (aepd.es).

Shoppers exercise rights over their account and photos through My Lookam or by writing to hello@lookam.io; do not use this dashboard to export their personal card, because it is not here.

We keep your account data while you have an active relationship with Lookam and, after cancellation, for as long as legal duties require (in general, tax data for about 5 years). Garment images follow your plan’s retention period. The photo and result of a try-on with no My Lookam account are deleted within 48 hours. A My Lookam album is not deleted by the store’s plan: the person keeps it until they delete the content or the account.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email and via a notice in the dashboard. The current version will always be available at lookam.io/legal/privacy.

The widget on your store allows a try-on without an account and, if you enable it, creating or using a My Lookam account. Lookam is the one that processes the photo. You do not receive the image and you do not draft the policy for that try-on. The policy the person sees is Lookam’s (my.lookam.io). You may prepare commercial messages. Lookam sends them to people who have agreed to receive them. That does not give you their photo or their measurements card.
